Happy day folks!! I'm Annabanana or as most call me Ann. At Tails and Ales you can find me behind the counter helping check in/out clients, loving on our clients, or serving up coffee, tea, beer, wine, mimosas, great conversation, and most importantly smiles on Friday afternoon. Saturdays I switch gears and step in to groom part time. I have loved animals since I was a small child. From hiding frogs in my jewelry box in my bedroom, taking frogs to school in my bookbag, to catching lizards. My mom can vouch for all these incidents. I have worked in the Food and Beverage industry since I was 16. I have worn many different hats such as server, bartender, bar manager, restaurant manager, event manager, and Cruise Manager when I lived in South Carolina for 5 years. Cruise Manager is by far my most favorite. Next time you’re in, ask me about it!! I am a self taught groomer. I originally learned to groom after getting my second Miniature Schnauzer 12 years ago. I groomed professionally for 2 years then moved to South Carolina where I continued to groom my own dogs. Once I moved back to North Carolina I began pursuing a career in Supply Chain, Transportation, and Logistics. Up until recently I had retired myself from grooming and then I found Tails and Ales, which ended up changing that. When I’m not working at Tails and Ales on the weekends I am working a full-time job 40+ hours a week. In my free time I enjoy cooking, watching documentaries, learning, taking 4 mile walks downtown, hiking, and spending time with my three dogs. I refer to Tails and Ales as my fun job and honestly it doesn’t even feel like work. I love it SOOOO MUCH!!
